Overall, Sour Lake Health & Medical provides general medical care for all ages, as well as performing multiple procedures to create a complete health care solution for the community. The clinic will assess and treat children and adults for acute episodic and chronic illness. We will perform minor surgeries such as incision and drainage, laceration repair, cryotherapy, cautery removal, and excision removal of lesions with biopsies. Sour Lake Health & Medical feels that education is key in community health care and will strive to provide its members with the most up to date evidence based medical information available.
 
Sour Lake Health & Medical’s philosophy is that optimal health and performance can be attained through the proper balance of exercise, nutrition, preventive care, and medical treatment.     • Physical exams for UIL sports
    • In office lab testing for evaluation of acute and chronic illness, including strep throat, bronchitis, influenza, RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), urinary tract infections, sprains, fractures, and mononucleosis.
    • Injections for the treatment of acute infection, vomiting, allergy
    • Referral to specialists when appropriate

    • Annual Well Woman Exam
    • PAP smear screening exam
    • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted disease

    • Removal of moles, skin tags, warts, and foreign bodies
    • Biopsy and removal of suspicious skin lesions
